The Hurricane Andrew collection contains two different series of materials regarding the 1992 hurricane.

Series I consists of photographs, writings, and artwork made by children representing their Hurricane Andrew experience. The majority of the materials are photographs, negatives, prints, photographic slides, writings about those photographs, and administrative documents from a project done at Southwood Middle School titled "The Eye of the Storm through the Eye of the Child." Administered and organized by Colette Stemple, a photography teacher at the school, the photographs depict damage done to their homes and their neighborhoods, and have accompanying text written by the children as well. The project was eventually on display in the Miami Art Museum one year after the landfall of Andrew, under the same name. Also included are drawings, poems, a bound volume titled "Hands On: The Day the Winds Came... Migrant Children Write About the Effects of Hurricane Andrew," reflections written by Caribbean Elementary School students, and a folder scrapbook on Hurricane Andrew's effects titled "In the Wake of Andrew."

Series II contains historic Miami Herald newspapers chronicling the Hurricane's impending landfall in South Florida, the actual landfall, and several weeks of the aftermath.

This collection contains materials from the University of Miami's 75th Anniversary celebration. The materials in this collection include news clippings, memorabilia, posters, t-shirts, correspondence, general ephemera, reports, photographs, pamphlets, programs, invitations, announcements, and other materials related to the event planning among the different schools, colleges, and divisions.

This collection contains photographs, handbooks, correspondence, and other administrative documents created and collected by the Iota Alpha Pi Sorority.

This collection contains an array of materials that document the history and legacy of the University of Miami Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Contained within are photographs, audio-visual materials, publications, news and magazine clippings, sports statistics, contracts, questionnaires, and topical files.

The collection contains correspondence, photos, performance fliers, a plaque, and posters of dancer Caridad "Pitucha" Vega.

This collection contains articles, screenplays, research notes, drafts, and other writings by John Underwood, as well as research files, audiovisual materials, and clippings. His research topics included former Florida State Senator George A. Smathers, sports, Disney, and South Florida. His collection also contains correspondence, his personal files, photograph albums, scrapbooks, his University of Miami files, and ephemera.

The Band of the Hour collection contains photograph albums, photographs, programs, certificates, sheet music, cards, newspaper clippings, memorabilia, plaque, posters, and other ephemera pertaining to University of Miami Frost School of Music's Band of the Hour.

This collection contains typed manuscripts, drafts, poems, periodicals, publications, correspondence, news clippings, photographs, slides, negatives, VHS tapes, audiocassette tapes, CDs and other archival materials from the local South Floridian poet, Jeffrey Knapp (1949-2010). Also included in the collection are photographs and research materials on the South Floridian artist, Betti Bernay (also known as Betty Godlfarb; 1926-2010).

The Spencer Family papers contains a number of personal items pertaining to various members of the Spencer family, in the form of books, clippings, journals, manuscripts, memorandums, news bulletins,  newspapers, notebooks, pamphlets, periodicals, photographs, poetry, postcards, reports, and scrapbooks.

Harrington & Company, Inc. was a major shipping, trade, and commerce business operating out of the old Miami ports in the 1960s and 1970s. The former president, Neal Harrington, was elected as the president of the Miami Propeller Club in 1968 and headlined the cruise liner conglomerate for much of the company's history. This collection documents Harrington & Company through newspaper clippings, scrapbook, photographs, and other historical materials.

This archival collection features several materials of personal interest gathered and collected by Kenneth W. Goodman, PhD, FACMI, FACE, the founder and director of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy and director of the university’s Ethics Programs and Professor of Medicine with appointments in the Department of Philosophy, School of Nursing and Health Studies and Department of Public Health Sciences. Featured within his collection are NASA press kits and press releases, particularly pertaining to the Apollo 11 moon landing, the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, NASA transportation shuttles, and other related NASA projects. Furthermore, there are also political ephemera, one photograph, and one news clipping housed inside his collection.

This collection largely contains materials and personal items from noted Eastern Airlines pilot, Arthur W. Dunlop, and his family members, Patricia H. Dunlop and Lorraine F. Dunlop. Contained within are Eastern Airlines documents, photographs, manuals, flight records, flight instruments; ephemera, VHS, vinyl records, pilot's wives' yearbooks, and news clippings; University of Miami pins, tags, ephemera, and Bachelor's certificate; family photographs, photograph albums, and drawings.

This collection documents the career of the University of Miami President Henry King Stanford (April 22, 1916 – January 1, 2009). Contained within are correspondence to and from Henry King Stanford, newspaper clippings, photographs, speeches, research files, scrapbooks, ephemera, and memorabilia that once belonged to him.

This collection contains autographed photographs and other associated photographs either collected by or about Marie Volpe (1880-1970), the former manager of the University of Miami Symphony Orchestra.
