The Thomas G. Ennis collection contains 41 letters written to George Thompson from 1834 to 1838, largely concerned with business matters pertaining to iron forges; a 1929 Pennsylvania court record for John Kiner, sentenced for horse theft; a 1828 copy of appropriation for state penitentiary, Philadephia; several 19th century almanacs; and a number of 19th century newspapers, including one replica of the Saturday April 15, 1865 issue of the New York Herald, the day Abraham Lincoln's assassination was announced.

Thomas Jefferson (1742-1826) was the primary author of the Declaration of Independence (1776), Governor of Virginia (1779-1781), the first Secretary of State (1790-1793), second Vice-President of the United Sates (1797-1801), the third President of the United States (1801–1809), the founder of the University of Virginia (1819), and one of the most influential Founding Fathers.

The Thomas Jefferson collection includes four letters by Thomas Jefferson, three official documents, an entry of merchandise, a biography, and twenty-six printed portraits.

The Tom Austin papers include the published articles, research notes, manuscripts, drafts, correspondence, photographs, ephemera, clippings, and other materials collected and produced by the prolific Miami/South Beach writer, editor, and columnist, Tom Austin (1955-2022).

The papers document professional activities of Tomás R. Yanes, an ophthalmologist and a founder of Cuba's Liga Contra la Ceguera (League Against Blindness). Materials include clippings, correspondence, a copy of a book with annotations and photographs.

The collection consists of memorandums, correspondence, and a brochure written by the Housing Office of the University of Miami for married students from 1967 to 1972.  It also includes several issues of “Married Student News” written by the Married Student Association of the university from 1971 to 1972.

This collection captures the history of the University of Miami Biology Club. Contained within are administrative documents, correspondence, exams, financial records, laboratory notes, member lists, and member photographs.

The University of Miami Citizens Board records contains directories, committee files, reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, event files, requisitions, certificates, membership records, biographies, and other documents pertaining to the board and their initiatives from the 1950s through the 1970s.

This collection contains official records, administrative documents, statistics, minutes, contracts, correspondence, ephemera, and reports compiled and created by the University of Miami School of Engineering from 1952 to 1988.

This collection contains the personal papers of the former Director of University of Miami Library, Archie McNeal, who was active from 1952 to 1979. His papers include correspondence; documents pertaining to other organizations and committees (including ALA, Library of Congress, Florida Library Study Commission, Association of College and research Libraries, Association of Caribbean Universities and Research Institute Libraries, Southern Association Library Committee) he was a part of, as well as conferences he attended; news articles; and other documents pertaining to his work as library director.

This collection contains correspondence, member certificates, key notes, photograph albums, meeting minutes, administrative documents, and documents pertaining to the University of Miami Golden Key National Honor Society.

The UM LGBTQ History Collection contains materials that document the activities of the university's LGBTQ student groups as well as the university's programs for LGBTQ students, such as the organizational records of the LGBTQ Student Center, newsletters, correspondence, press clippings, and audio-visual materials.

The Lowe Art Museum collection contains records, reports, correspondence, cookbooks, publications, and other documents pertaining to the museum's publicity, administration, and events.

This University of Miami News Bureau records include memoranda, press releases, clippings, correspondence, notes, and other materials on a wide range of activities, programs, and individuals associated with the University of Miami.

The University of Miami Office of Human Relations records contains correspondence, schedules, annual reports, workshop information, news articles, memos, contracts, teacher profiles, budget documents, minutes, and other related administrative documents.

The majority of the items found in this collection are photographs, negatives, and contact sheets of university buildings, its people, and events taken by the Office of Media Relations from the 1940s to the 1990s. Press releases, university publications, correspondence, and other materials created by the department are also available in the collection.
