Scope and content
Volume 1, Numbers 18-20, 22-33. "A nearly complete run of a brilliant little science fiction fanzine, published in Coconut Grove between 1973-1977 by Mensa members David Jenrett and Mardee Skolnick. TAB, as the zine was affectionately called, was compiled by teachers and students, with the motive of providing 'innocent merriment, information, and a means of communication among students and educators in science/math/education' (issue #3). With a distinctly local flavor, Tabebuian covered the usual fanzine ground, in addtion to intelligently composed articles on black holes, marine life, writing and the environment, while occasionally venturing into travel writing and the terrible service at the Howard Johnson's restaurant." -- Descriptions from Captain Ahab's Rare Books, bookseller. Published in Miami, Florida.
