History

The Miami Snowplow Company was a group that had been organized by Chairman Lynn Slavitt (now Lynn Meyer) and other local Miamians in 1971 for the purpose of providing organization and protection to the Miami Beach area, which had been chosen as the location for both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions and was expecting a record number of delegates and non-delegates from both parties to arrive to the city in 1972.
