Series 16: Photographs

This series consists of photographs, negatives and slides in a variety of sizes and formats. They are arranged by theme. Thematic arrangement of this this series mirrors the thematic arrangement of the rest of the collection with the following exceptions: photographs of executive officers are found in the series “Photographs, Personnel, Executive Officers”; photographs of clubs are found in the series “Photographs, Properties and Facilities, Clubs”; and photographs of geographic locations are found in the series “Photographs, Geographic Locations”. Series 19: Aviation History Web Collection

The collection archives the websites of the Pan Am Historical Foundation, World Wings International and the Clipper Pioneers. These organizations were founded by former employees of Pan American World Airways, Inc. (1927-1991) to preserve the history of the airline. The company was a pioneer in international air travel, the development of aviation equipment, air routes, commercial passenger service, navigation techniques, and communication systems.
