Many of the transitory materials grouped under ephemera include posters, postcards, leaflets, tracts, special editions, programs and menus published in countries such as the Bahamas, Brazil, Cuba, Curaçao Grenada, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Folders 1-5 of this box contain newspapers specific to the regions of Trinidad and Tobago. The Trinidad Guardian is a major national newspaper, printed in English and distributed daily throughout the region, and the Trinidad and Tobago Review is a monthly journal, also printed in English and released by the Institute of the West Indies at Tapia House. Folder 6 contains an issue of The Flash, a periodical that highlights an international view of gay lifestyles, and this particular issue features articles focused on the Caribbean.

This box contains several issues of the newspapers, Le Matin and Le Nouvelliste, two popular publications that originated in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and have been released daily throughout the country of Haiti for several years. It continues to be distributed online and on paper in the present, and the articles are written entirely in French and Haitian Creole and focus primarily on local Haitian news reports and events.
