Personal letters: Marcia and Jason Matthews
Part of:
Marcia and Jason Matthews corresponded heavily with Edwina Garfield and Dora Welti. The frequency with which they corresponded allows a more complete picture of their lives to emerge than some of Garfield and Welti's other correspondents. Along with letters and transcripts of a weekly radio show produced by the Matthews', they often enclosed newsclippings and carbon copies of letters and newspaper articles. These clippings and carbon copies have, for the most part, been separated out and are now located in Box 19. The carbon copies are extremely brittle and the material copied on them is fading rapidly. All of the carbon copies have been scanned in order to preserve the information they hold.
