Political Activity and Propaganda Files

This series contains files that include proclamations (broadsides) and circulars, clippings, posters, reports, audiovisual materials, articles, etc. about anti-communist propaganda campaigns in and outside of Cuba. The series also includes plans and strategy reports, intelligence reports (many of them sent to the CIA). Periodicals titles published by DRE, such as Trinchera and Cuban Report have been removed from this collection and added to the Cuban Heritage Collection’s Cuban Exile Periodicals collection, and DRE pamphlets have been integrated with the CHC Pamphlets Collection.

Series 6 contains pamphlets collected by the Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil en el Exilio (DRE) organization. All of the pamphlets in this series are pamphlets that have not already been separated and cataloged in the CHC Pamphlets collection.

This series includes administrative records of DRE units, delegation files, and membership records. The latter are restricted for 75 years from their creation. financial inscription membership forms, financial records, memorabilia, etc. about the management and internal affairs of the organization.
