The Leonor Ferreira Collection documents professional and political activities. It contains photographs, documents, correspondence, and periodicals related to various medical endeavors and community and political organizations. These include but are not limited to the American Red Cross, Junta Patriótica Cubana, Partido Revolucionario Cubano, and Leones Cubanos en el Exilio, as well as community and familial events.

This collection is arranged by photographs, correspondence, documents, periodicals, and books.

Box 1:
This box contains photographs related to familial events, trips, and political and community organization events.

Box 2:
This box contains documents, correspondence, periodicals, and photographs related to the Junta Patriótica Cubana including conventions, events, and programs.

Box 3:
This box contains documents, correspondence, periodicals, and photographs related to political and volunteer organizations including Municipio de Marianao, Madres y Mujeres Anti-Represión Por Cuba (M.A.R.), Leones Cubanos en el Exilio, American Red Cross, and Partido Revolucionario Cubano.

Box 4:
This box contains media, correspondence, and documents related to various organizations and events, as well as reports and identification.

Box 5:
This box contains documents including political and community organization bulletins and certificates.

Box 6:
This box contains periodicals, books and photographs related to Leonor Ferreira and Cuban political concerns.

Box 1E:
This box contains large periodicals and diplomas and certificates.

This collection is open for research.

This collection is housed off-campus and must be requested a minimum of seven calendar days in advance for consultation in the Cuban Heritage Collection Reading Room. Please contact chc@miami.edu to request materials from this collection.
