The Dr. Luis F. González-Cruz Papers document the life and career of writer and Professor Emeritus of Pennsylvania State University, Dr. González-Cruz. These works include fifteen books that include literary critiques, three volumes of poetry and novels.

This collection is arranged into five series:

Series 1: Articles and publications in magazines, newspapers, anthologies, books, programs, awards, etc. in chronological order.

Series 2: Reviews/Critiques on books by other authors in chronological order.

Series 3: Poems, short stories that were published in newspapers, magazines, anthologies, and awards, etc. in chronological order.

Series 4: Remarks on articles and short stories written by Luis F. González-Cruz in chronological order.

Series 5: Curriculum Vitae, photocopies of degrees/diplomas, naturalization letter, various documents, manuscripts written by Jorge Guillén, correspondence with Jorge Guillén, Isabel Wilder, Samuel Beckett, Germaine Bree, Daniel Devoto, and Northrip Frye.

This collection is open for research.

Items from this collection are housed in the Cuban Heritage Collection located in the Roberto C. Goizueta Pavilion on the second floor of the Otto G. Richter Library at the University of Miami.
