Biographical history

Carlos Alberto Montaner is an exiled Cuban author known for his more than 25 books and thousand of articles, including several novels. He is known as an outspoken political commentator and critic of the Castro regime.

Physical access

Some audio visual materials such as reel-to-reel tapes are restricted due to preservation and mechanical limitations.

This collection is housed off-campus and must be requested a minimum of seven calendar days in advance for consultation in the Cuban Heritage Collection Reading Room. Please contact chc@miami.edu to request materials from this collection.
