CID (Cuba Independiente y Democrática) is a nonprofit political organization dedicated to "Cuba’s total independence and sovereignty, the establishment of a multiparty system, a market economy, social justice and integration with the Western hemisphere."

Founded in Venezuela in 1980 by former Castro commander Huber Matos, the organization has adopted a non-violent strategy that integrates education and scientific and cultural study to promote its mission and goals.
