This series contains four scrapbooks with materials related to Commodore Ralph M. Munroe and his family, including letters to and from Munroe family members; family photographs; documents from the Barnacle, the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club, and the Biscayne Bay Manufacturing Company; photographs of and documents pertaining to Munroe’s yacht constructions; typescripts by Ralph Munroe; clippings about Munroe and Coconut Grove at large; documents relating to the publishing of Munroe’s Commodore’s Story; documents about Munroe’s Estate; plat maps; and other items. Also included are two University of Miami scrapbooks with materials from the 1930s into the 1960s.
