Father Alejandro Lopez is an exiled Cuban priest who has dedicated himself to the service of the poor in Honduras. He founded and directs the San Jose Obrero Foundation, which has built schools, hospitals, factories, and trade institutes tha educate and empower poor families to become self-sufficient. Twice a year, he travels to Miami to collect old clothes and second hand appliances that he takes to Honduras to be repaired by his trade school students, which has turned ino a means of support for his charitable works. At odds many times with both Marxist guerrillas and corrupt military men, he remains deeply concerned with social justice and has never ceased be a "Cubanazo."
