Scope and content
The emergence of this company (also known as FJC), in Teterboro, New Jersey, resulted from a joint venture between Dassault Aviation (then Avions Marcel Dassault-Breguet) and Pan Am to address the need for an intermediary between the manufacturer’s design office and technical teams in France and U.S. sales offices. FJC was responsible for sales, service and maintenance of Fan Jet Falcons (formerly Mystere 20) in the Western Hemisphere, as well as China. In 1980, Dassault Aviation bought Pan Am's shares.
