Color folding map on sheet 18 x 24 inches folding as issues into 9 x 4 1/4 inch color pictorial stiff card folder, black and white photo illustrations and text on verso. Light wear to covers, small pencil mark on front cover, 1/2 inch tear to left upper edge (outside map area); very good condition. Map features a chart of Excavations made by the U.S. Government and by the French, plus a map of Panama and information on the Republic of Panama. The verso of map includes eleven numbered panels with information on the Cities along the Canal, the Panama Canal, the Gatun Dam, the Spillway, the Culebra Cut and the Locks.
