Periodical Publications – From different organizations

This series contains mostly clippings and periodical publications of other organizations, institutions and associations as well as typescripts of articles written by Cuban exiles. It also contains tabloids and regular size newspapers found throughout the collection, which were transferred to this series for preservation purposes.

Correspondence

The series (box 1) includes correspondence from and to E. G. Rodríguez, dated from 1914 to 1939.

General

The series (box 2-4) consists of a bibliography, conferences, pamphlets and speeches by E. G. Rodríguez, clippings of articles by him and about him, photographs, several periodical publications, and some miscellaneous material.

This series contains articles and notes for three chapters of Mirta Ojito's book, Finding Mañana.

Mike Howell

This series contains articles relating to Mike Howell, an American fisherman from New Orleans, Louisiana, who covertly took Cuban and Haitian exiles to their respective islands to bring family back to the United States.

Bernardo Benes

This series contains articles and personal papers relating to Bernardo Benes, a prominent figure in Miami's Cuban exile community who spearheaded a dialogue with Fidel Castro that led to the release of political prisoners on the island.

Personal Files

The series includes her correspondence, working papers, manuscripts, published, and unpublished works. This series also contains correspondence, research notes, and works by Dolores and her husband, José Cid Pérez, such as the unpublished book entitled, El Teatro Hispanoamericano de Ayer y de Hoy.
