Founded in 1925, the University of Miami is a private research university with more than 15,000 students from around the world. It comprises 12 schools and colleges serving undergraduate and graduate students in more than 180 majors and programs.

Ron Fraser, nicknamed the "Wizard of College Baseball," coached the Hurricanes from 1963 to 1992 and led them to the 1982 and 1985 College World Series titles. He passed away on January 20, 2013 at the age of 79.

The collection consists of three DVDs that contain the complete ceremony "Ron Fraser Celebration of Life" held on February 23, 2013 at the Knight Sports Complex, University of Miami. The recordings were produced by the Department of Athletics, University of Miami.
