This series documents the campaigns that Power U and their supporters have organized. Major efforts have included opposing gentrification efforts in Overtown, improving the quality of life for inner city residents, the building of a noise wall along the Florida Turnpike, and protecting the rights of students of color in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
