History
Schluntz received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley. His initial academic appointment was with California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He is active with various committees of the American Institute of Architects and served as a director of the National Architectural Accrediting Board (2001-2004 term). In 1996 Professor Schluntz was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. This honor recognizes his contributions in architectural education and achievements toward enhancing the quality of design of public buildings in the United States.
