This collection contains photo albums, interviews, the McCourt family tree, clippings, notes, correspondence, manuscripts, photo albums, resumes/CVs, legal documents, and other archival documents about Sue McCourt Cobb’s career as an American Ambassador to Jamaica (2001-2005) and the former Secretary of State of Florida (2005-2007) and her climb on Mt. Everest.

Dr. Murray Sanders was a physician and medical researcher with the University of Miami and Variety Children's Hospital. He was the former chairman of the Department of Medical Research of the University of Miami. His papers consist of correspondence, periodicals, essays, photocopies of articles and essays, and newspaper clippings regarding medical research. Also included are photographs and prints of Dr. Sanders, as well as a biography and a curriculum vitae.

Herndon (1948-2021) was a historical preservationist who aided in several global restoration projects, including the Old Spanish Fort (1730) in Pascagoula, Mississippi; Qasr Ibrihim (1600's) in Hoffuf, Saudi Arabia; the Old Post Office (1897) in Washington, D.C.; The Rugby Colony (1880's) in Rugby, Tennessee; Union Station (1900) in Nashville, Tennessee; The Germantown neighborhood revitalization (1840's) in Nashville, Tennessee; The Biltmore Hotel (1926) in Miami, Florida. His papers include a large breadth of information and research pertaining to the Biltmore Hotel, the Panama Canal, Turkey, the Deering Estate, resorts, and other areas of interest to Joseph Herndon. Material types represented within include audio-visual materials (CD-ROMS, VHS, photographs, slides), print-outs, administrative files, financial files, travel brochures, ephemera, architectural plans, interior design samples, research files, reports, proposals, periodicals, and 3D objects.

The Lyn MacCorkle papers consists of research materials for two bibliographies that MacCorkle published in the 1980s: Cubans In The United States: A Bibliography For Research In The Social And Behavioral Sciences , 1960-1983 (1984) and Faculty Publications, University Of Miami (1986).
