This folder contains letter sized copies of drawings, historic photos, maps, and other research with handwritten notes on many pages. Up front is a letter dated December 18, 2003, from Richard Shepard, as Director of the CUCD, to Maria Nardi, as Chief Planner for the City of Miami, presenting drawings from the Community Design Workshop on December 6 meant as recommendations for planning Coconut Grove.
Established in 1951, the Coconut Grove Garden Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the study, practice, and appreciation of horticulture. This collection contains photograph albums, Plymouth Congregational Church registers, and other records held by the Coconut Grove Garden Club.

The Coconut Grove Playhouse records contain playbills, promotional/marketing material, posters, press releases, news clippings, financial files, grant files, personnel files, show and production files, play scripts, and audio-visual materials (photographs, CDs, vinyl records, floppy disks, VHS, film reels, betacam tapes, audiocassette tapes) pertaining to the theater's operation from the 1970s to its closing in 2006.
Built projects by Gordon Gilbert including preliminary sketches, construction drawings, construction photos, final photos, and models of the Bridge House, the Lake House, the Light House, the Memorial proposal, the Rock House, the Split House, the Stilt House, the Transparent Cottage, and the Tree House projects.
The Finlay B. Matheson collection includes more than 2,411 photographs; 112 maps, surveys, and architectural plans; and 13 books related to William John Matheson and his immediate family. Estate documents and other documents containing historical and biographical information pertaining to the Matheson family and their various business ventures can also be found within this collection, as well as drawings, postcards, and some of the first aerial view photographs of Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, the Miami River, and the Florida Keys. Florida's landscape during the early 20th century is captured throughout the various albums and scrapbooks and attests to a more leisurely lifestyle before the advent of skyscrapers and multi-lane highways. Furthermore, the collection provides an in-depth glimpse into the burgeoning social life of early inhabitants who gathered at the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club.

Postcards are a colorful way to advertise the wonders of Florida and promote tourism. The Florida Postcard Collection includes postcards from throughout the state, capturing both the natural landscape and the built environment.
The collection includes correspondence, logbooks, photographs albums, slides, and diaries pertaining to various members of the Munroe Family who settled in Coconut Grove, Florida.
The Plymouth Congregational Church records contains historical records created and maintained by the church from around the 1910s through 2010s. The collection contains (but is not limited to) church records on baptisms, weddings, and funerals; architectural drawings of the building and grounds (including the Little Schoolhouse); church bulletins; educational materials; organizational records, including minister files, records maintained by church organizations (eg. Music Committee, Women's Fellowship Circles), and information on governance; ephemera related to events; press clippings; scrapbooks, photographs; and sermons and memorial tapes.
This file was a loosely combined stack of materials on planning and revitalizing West Coconut Grove. This file includes master plan drafts and proofs with notes, UM-SoA studio projects, and other related research including photocopied maps, photos, 1990 census data, and older project plans.
