Francisco de la Vega Collection consists of the correspondence between Francisco de la Vega Company, settled in Santander, Spain, and his partners from Havana, Cuba. The correspondence is about the situation of the trasatlantic trade of sugarcane and flour between those companies (1829-1835).

The Francisco García Amador Collection contains correspondence, manuscripts and copies of publications authored by Francisco V. García Amador, former professor of international law at the University of Miami School of Law.

The Francisco Vallhonrat Collection contains the personal papers of Cuban writer, journalist, and Republican Party activist Francisco Vallhonrat. It includes plays, poems, short stories, and journals by him, as well as articles and essays on various subjects related to the Cuban community in New York and New Jersey. Also included is Vallhonrat's correspondence, legal documents, pictures, photo albums, awards abd memorabilia. A large portion of the collection contains Republican Party correspondence, campaign fliers, organizational and fundraising documents.

The Frank M. Thomas Jr. Diary collection contains two bound daily record diaries of the activities of Frank M. Thomas Jr., an investigator for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau in Jacksonville, Florida. His diary provides a daily record of his activities with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, including typed inventories of "known and unknown" seizures.

The collection consists of nine scrapbooks with newspaper clippings, photographs, memorabilia, folders and correspondence documenting personal and professional activities of Frank Trelles, the chairman of the "Big Five Clubs," the largest private clubs in Havana, which included Havana Yacht Club, Miramar Yacht Club and Vedado Tennis Club.  Materials also document swimming competitions.

Frederic H. Ashe was the nephew of the first University of Miami President Bowman Foster Ashe. Frederic H. Ashe was a composer and student of the school of music at the University of Miami. The Frederic H. Ashe collection consists of sheet music written by Frederic H. Ashe.

The Frederic Zeigen collection consists of materials on the foundation and early years of the University of Miami, such as constitutional bylaws, meeting minutes, Board of Regents files, first and second annual reports, and newspaper clippings on university-related events. It also contains several additional folders on his company, the Bankers Land and Investment Corporation, his interest in art and Michigan authors, and his scrapbook titled "The Idealist."

The Frederick Charles Dyer Papers contains a manuscript and galley proofs for the 1965 book Bureaucracy vs. Creativity, co-authored with John M. Dyer.

The Frost Museum of Science had originally opened in 1950 under the name the Junior Museum of Miami and has since underwent several renovations and relocations. It had also been renamed in 1952 as the Museum of Science and Natural History and once again renamed in 2011 after Phillip and Patricia, two wealthy and influential Miami philanthropists who have donated and supported various educational institutes and museums throughout South Florida, including the University of Miami. In its current inception, the Frost Museum of Science is located in Downtown Miami's waterfront Museum Park and offers a variety of STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math)-based exhibits, lectures, and shows. It is particularly well-known for hosting the show Star Gazers with Jack Horheimer (formerly Jack Horheimer: Star Hustlers and Jack Horheimer: Star Gazer).

This collection includes typescripts for the Star Gazers (Star Hustler) planetarium show, research files, exhibit files, exhibit prints, convention proceedings, pamphlets, historical news clippings, ephemera, periodicals, scrapbooks, photographs, event files, administrative records, and other archival documents pertaining to the Frost Museum of Science's day-to-day operations.

The papers document activities of Cuban president Fulgencio Batista Zaldivar and his son Fulgencio Rubén Batista. The papers include records and rosters of Batista Zaldivar's army, speeches given by president Batista, and letters from Batista Zaldivar to his son and to other correspondents. Batista Zaldivar founded the Institutos Cívico-Militares in Cuba and the collection includes many accounts of rural military school teachers and their experiences.

The records also include speeches, programs, invitations, and photographs from the "10 de marzo" and the "4 de septiembre" annual celebrations. Included are also articles, poems, clippings, and publications about Batista Zaldivar's resignation, exile, death, and funeral. The materials also include Fulgencio Rubén Batista's funeral memorial programs and clippings and articles and letters of interest to F. Rubén Batista.

The Fundación Padre Santana records contain correspondence sent to the Fundación Padre Santana from people in Cuba, primarily during the country's Special Period from the early 1900s to 2000s. Founded in 1993 by the Reverend Francisco Santana, the foundation provided medical aid to Cubans on the island, communicating its services through radio programs.

The Funding Arts Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts in Miami-Dade County through publicly funding grants for various art-related institutions, events, projects, and educational initiatives. The organization originally formed in 1996 under the name of Fifty over Fifty, Inc. with the initial goal of recruiting 50 members who would each contribute $1,000 a year to form a pool of $50,000 that would be endowed to the arts. Both the award pool and membership grew considerably over time, and by 2018, they had funded over 108 art organizations and had awarded $4,822,600 in grants. Their records contain past grant applications, newsletters, correspondence, contracts, awards, audio-visual materials, press clippings, bylaws, reports, minutes, membership lists, and other administrative documents for the organization.

The Gabriel García Galán Collection contains correspondence, clippings, photographs, manuscripts, musical scores, awards and other documents related to Dr. Gabriel García Galán.

Most notably the collection contains a 1929 letter to Dr. García Galán from Enrique José Varona and three manuscripts of Gobierno Superior Civil de la Isla de Cuba from 1869.

The Grupo Artístico Literario Abril (G.A.L.A) was founded in 1977 in Miami with the purpose of bringing together members of the literary and arts community. It became an official non-profit organization in 1982 in the state of Florida. G.A.L.A recognized many different Cuban and Latin American writers, poets, and artists from 1978 until 1997. G.A.L.A. was comprised of world renowned writers and they often paid tribute to their accomplishments. They awarded the "Agustín Acosta"award for poetry and the "GALA" award for short stories. Many newspapers around the world recognized and documented G.A.L.A.'s cultural events, lectures, conferences, recitals, and expositions held mostly in Miami, Florida.

The collection consists of newspaper clippings, correspondence, circular letters, press releases, lists of award recipients, photographs, and audio cassettes. Official records also include a constitution, by-laws, meeting minutes, and financial records.

The collection consists of documents, books and other materials written and collected by Cuban writer Gastón Baquero (1914-1997) during the last years of his life in Madrid, Spain. The collection includes correspondence, published and unpublished works by Baquero, clippings of newspaper articles by and about Baquero, research notes, photographs, clippings, scrapbooks, awards and memorabilia. Although the collection includes personal papers and documents, the bulk of materials relates to the subjects that occupied Baquero throughout his life, namely Cuban, Spanish and Latin American literature, history and politics.

Born in Ituiuitaba, Brazil, Gazy Andraus is a comics researcher and author. He studied Visual Arts at the Art Institute of the Federal University of Goiás (1986-1987) and graduated from the Faculty of Plastic Arts of the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation in São Paulo in 1992. He then became a Master of Visual Arts from the Institute of Arts of UNESP in São Paulo in 1999, and a Doctor in Communication Sciences. His collection includes Brazilian zines he created and collected over his lifetime.

The collection contains five scrapbooks with clippings, designs and photographs of finished buildings with examples of architectural works created by the firm Gelabert-Navia Arquitectos in Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Cuba, as well as a binder with diplomas and awards and four wooden plaque diplomas for the José Alfredo Gilbert (1927-2017) and Rosa Navia Gelabert (1929-2017). The husband and wife team were active professionally in Cuba from 1952 to 1960.

The Gelcys de Céspedes Vidal Papers are the personal documents of Cuban exile dentist Dra. Gelcys de Céspedes Vidal. They contain correspondence with other dentists, documents from the Association of Cuban Dentists in Exile, and educational documents relating to Dr. Vidal's training from both Cuba and the United States.

George Abbott (June 25, 1887 – January 31, 1995) was a famous and well-renowned playwright, producer, and director who worked out of New York City for most of his life until he retired and passed away in Miami Beach, Florida. Over the course of his career on Broadway, he received many awards and accolades for his work, including several Tony Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama (1960), and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Director (1983). To celebrate his vast contributions to the world of theater, George Abbott also had both a theater building, which was unfortunately demolished in 1970, and a street in New York Times Square, George Abbott Way, named after him.

His papers feature photographs, playscripts, playbills, financial documents, official records, music sheets, and other materials associated with his life and work on Broadway.

The collection includes a substantial body of writings by George Merrick, known primarily as the founder of the city of Coral Gables in South Florida. In 1916, he married Eunice Peacock, granddaughter of Coconut Grove pioneers, Charles and Isabella Peacock. The correspondence, short stories, essays, manuscripts, poems, speeches, clippings, proposals and plans from the collection document the literary aspirations, as well as the real estate career of George Merrick.  His papers also include correspondence, clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, and ephemera from Eunice Peacock Merrick and other members of the Peacock and Merrick families. George Merrick’s close ties with the University of Miami and his contributions to the institution’s expansion are documented through correspondence, newspapers clippings, and ephemera. This collection contains a scrapbook kept by George "Curley" Edwards, a student at the University and a member of the first football team, along with a blanket with the UM logo, a belt, and assorted newspaper clippings.

The George Gershwin Festival was sponsored and presented by the University of Miami's School of Music on October 27, 28, and 29, 1970. The scrapbooks contain concert programs, promotional materials, press articles, correspondence, and photographs of the event.

The George L. Vergara collection contains microfilms and photocopies of the Bulletin of the Aerial Experiment Association between 1908-1909.

George Augustus Moore (1852–1933) was an Irish novelist, short-story writer, poet, art critic, memoirist and dramatist.

The George Moore Collection contains correspondence, an undated manuscript titled "Scenario," the galley proofs with corrections for his 1885 novel Mummer's Wife, and a typescript for his 1894 novel Esther Waters.

The correspondence consists of a series of letters and telegraphs between Moore and New York playwright and writer Edward Knoblauch (1874-1945), a letter from Moore to a "Nachey," several letters without a recipient name, two letters from D. M. Beth at Riverside Press Unlimited, a book printer from Edinburgh, discussing corrections on Moore's 1921 novel Heloise and Abelard.

Captain Price was a commercial airline pilot with Pan American World Airways for 32 years, and his records contain materials that span from 1940s-1990s.

This audio recording contains an Undergraduate Student Government lecture by George Schuyler presented at the Student Union, University of Miami, on April 21, 1966.

On the case, the speaker is identified as Charles (Chas) Schuyler.  However, the typed memo from the donor to the library director and a handwritten note by the library director identify the speaker as George Schuyler.

The 1/4 inch reel-to-reel tape was recorded in 3 and 3/4 IPS.  The length of the program is unknown.  A transcript is not available.

Dr. George W. O'Connor was a criminal justice professor at the University of Miami, also active with the Center for Urban Studies. He also served as director of the Professional Standards Division of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

The George W. O'Connor Papers consist of documents pertaining to his work in both academia and in the public sector. Many of the papers are concerned with criminal justice, firearms control, court structure and operation, local Floridian court systems, and correctional institutions.

The Georgia Portuondo photograph collection consists of photographs of the construction and dedication of the Memorial bust of José Martí in Port Chester, New York.

This photograph collection contains views of Havana and Marianao, Cuba taken in 1988.

The collection documents Georgina Shelton's involvement in Lyceum and Lawn Tennis Club, Havana, Cuba are the most important ones in this collection. Materials also include articles about and by Hilda Perera, postcards of Mexico from 1920, programs from John J. Koubek Memorial Center, clippings, correspondence and newspaper from 1876.

The Gerald Fink Collection contains 32 photographs of the damage done to the city of Miami by the 1926 Miami Hurricane (or Great Miami Hurricane). Three of the photographs are panoramic and are by Verne O. Williams.

This collection contains archival materials and vinyl records from the well-known New York City composer, Gerald Marks (1900-1997).

A handwritten and handdrawn manuscript entitled "Die versunkene glocke" (The sunken bell). Painted plates are by Maria L. Schwendt.

Gertrude Jobes was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1907, and is the author of a number of books including One Happy Family; Dictionary of Mythology, Folklore and Symbols; Outer Space; and The Motion Picture Empire. She often contributed her poetry to anthologies and avant-garde journals. She lated resided in Miami, Florida.

The Gertrude Jobes Collection contains typescripts and manuscripts by Gertrude Jobes. Included is an undated and unpublished 91 page typescript titled The Patriot and the Traitor: a tragi-comedy in three acts, an undated and unpublished typescript titled Tigers in the Bamboo Grove, assorted prose writings, and assorted poetry. Also included is biographical and genealogical data on Jobes, a sketch of Jobes,  and correspondence from the years 1965-1969, chiefly on the subject of the illness and death of her husband James A. Jobes.

The papers include correspondence mostly regarding homage to Lydia Cabrera, photographs of Giulio Blanc with Lydia Cabrera and a typescript of a poem by Virgilio Piñera.

The Gladys Anreus Collection contains digital photographs and a cassette tape oral history with Cuban actress Gladys Anreus.

The Gladys Pérez collection documents the career of journalist Gladys Pérez. It contains reel-to-reel audio tapes and interview transcripts that she conducted with Cuban musicians.

This collection contains correspondence, manuscript drafts, notebooks, drawings, sketchbooks, photographs, planners, journals, college notebooks, and other ephemera from Gloria Grasmuck's notable life and career as an artist, writer, and translator.

The González de Mendoza Family Collection contains a copy of a genealogical chart of the González de Mendoza family, Certificación de genealogía, nobleza y armas del apellido González de Mendoza, the original housed at Spain's Archivo Heráldico in Madrid.

The collection also includes documents from the Ministerio de Justicia, Subsecretaría "Asuntos de Gracia," relating to the heirs of the title Marqués de Pelayo; correspondence from Enrique Conill y Rafecas and Esperanza Conill y Rafecas de Zanetti; and a clipping from El Nuevo Herald discussing a reunion of the González de Mendoza family.

The Gonzalo de Palacio Collection includes numerous interviews with American and Hispanic celebrities by Cuban writer Gonzalo Palacio for Vanidades magazine and others, as well as articles, celebrity caricatures, books, audio tapes, memorabilia, and oversize materials. Also included are photographs of numerous Latin celebrities sorted in alphabetical order, and manuscripts from Galeria de Americanos Ilustres.

Built works, unbuilt/schematic works, experimental architecture work, and reference materials created by, and about, Gordon Gilbert including preliminary sketches, construction drawings, construction photos, final photos, models, presentations, and publications.

The Graciella Cruz-Taura Collection contains audio cassette recordings of interviews with Cuban historian Dr. Herminio Portell Vila; Amalia Bacardí, wife of Bacardí founder Facundo Bacardí Massó; and artist Félix Beltrán.

The collection also contains an audio recording of a lecture, "La novela testimonial en el exilio," offered by Rafael Saumell at the University of Miami's Graduate School of International Studies in March 1989.

The Grandes Leyendas Musicales Cubanas Interviews Collection consists of interviews conducted by Eloy Cepero with Cuban-born musicians. The presentations are part of a series sponsored by the Institute of Cuban and Cuban American Studies that showcase Cuban well known musicians and recording artists.

This is an ongoing program and recordings will continue to be added to the collection as more presentations are made.

Dr. Granville Fisher was the head of the Psychology department at the University of Miami, and an independent artist. He founded the Granville Galleries on Ponce de Leon and Bird Road in 1959. The Granville Fisher Collection contains materials documenting his work as a psychologist and as an artist. The collection holds two scrapbooks as well as periodicals, pamphlets, programs, certificates, awards, letters, postcards, photographs, negatives, clippings, and one illustration with poetry dedicated to his son.

The Greater Miami Opera Collection contains programs, brochures, and seasonal periodicals from the Greater Miami Opera Association and the Opera Guild of Greater Miami, ranging from 1953 to 1991. Among the operas featured are Madame Butterfly, The Barber of Seville, The Marriage of Figaro, Romeo and Juliet, Othello, La Boheme, Faust, Cavalleria Rusticana, The Flying Dutchman, Turandot, Rigoletto, Carmen, Tosca, and Die Fledermaus.

This collection contains aviation research related to the loss of Flight 7, PAA-94, Pan American Clipper Romance of the Skies in the mid-Pacific on November 8, 1957. Included within are documents, photographs, notes, memoranda of conversations, and interview transcripts used in the research and writing of two magazine articles by Gregg Herken and Ken Fortenberry. Also included in the collection are the articles which appeared in Air & Space and Smithsonian magazines.

Professor Gregory Bush (History Department) and the Institute for Public History (IPH) have recorded a series of interviews around the issue of public spaces in South Florida. Participants, who are representative of the diverse cultural milieu of the region, reflect and provide insights on migration, gentrification, the history of individual neighborhoods, housing, and community services.

These voices help to articulate the ongoing discourse on public space as it applies to South Florida’s History of development. The recordings and accompanying transcripts of the oral history collection document the unique experiences of the region’s inhabitants. In addition, the collection serves as a repository of primary source materials for students, faculty and the general public.

The Grupo Cubano de Investigaciones Económicas Collection contains original studies done by the Cuban Economic Resarch Group at the University of Miami.

It includes a manuscript titled A Study on Cuba: The Colonial and Republican Periods, The Socialist Experiment. Economic structure, institutional development, socialism and collectivisation, as well as a study on Cuban agriculture.

The Guantánamo Bay Naval Base Collection contains writings and memorabilia related to Cuban balseros and deportees sent to the Guantánamo Naval Base by the United States government. The collection includes numerous periodicals, including Exodo, El Futuro, and Balsero, as well as photographs, drawings, memorabilia, and transcripts of an oral history project on Cuban balseros.

The Guantánamo Refugee Assistance Program (GRASP) records contain information about English classes and legal counseling offered to Cuban refugees held at Guantánamo Bay Naval Base. Upon their arrival in the U.S., Cuban migrants also benefited from GRASP services such as job placement assistance and computer education. The project received funding from the United Way of Miami-Dade County, the federal government, and private donations.

The records document business activities of the Guantánamo Sugar Company.  The materials consist of the official records of the Guantánamo Sugar Company offices located at 120 Wall Street, New York, from 1915 through 1959.  These records include correspondence, ledgers, financial records, and other documents of this company which was the owner of the Soledad Sugar Mill, Los Caños Sugar Mill, the Isabel B. Sugar Mill and the Guantánamo Railroad Co. all located around the Guantánamo Bay.

The Guillermo Álvarez Guedes Collection contains audiovisual materials and manuscripts of the Cuban comedian and performer Guillermo Álvarez Guedes active from the 1960s to the early 2000s.

The collection contains videos, cassette tapes and CDs of Guillermo Álvarez Guedes' comedic performances. The collection also includes manuscripts for books including Cadillac; and scripts for radio shows and live performances. It also includes, ephemera, posters, clippings, musical arrangements, and photo albums documenting Álvarez Guedes' career.

The Guillermo Hernandez Collection consists of a number of documents and materials related to the Cuban exile community in the United States. It includes manuscripts, articles, event invitations, certifications, legal and official documents, photographs, postcards, correspondence, human rights documents, theater articles and show files, festival information, and other memorabilia.

The Guillermo Rosales Papers contain writings and personal effects of Guillermo Rosales (1946-1993), late 20th century Cuban writer and journalist.

The collection contains manuscripts for various novels written by Rosales, including Júralo por Stalin, El Bunker Fantasmaand El juego de la viola(1968), as well as articles and clippings written by and about him, respectively. The collection also contains correspondence; certificates and awards, including Rosales' first prize honor in the University of Miami's Letras de Oro literary competition; and an accompanying scrapbook with photographs of the event.

The Guillermo González collection contains materials documenting the engineering career and personal life of Cuban engineer Guillermo González (1932-2013), including slides, photographs and images, memorabilia, personal papers, and audiovisual materials.

These materials include slide collections, photographs, postcards, advertisements, tourist brochures, and ceramic plates from famous Cuban locales. The collection also contains materials documenting González's career as an engineer, such as awards, engineering essays, and blueprints, most from his time in Miami, but some materials do date from his time in Cuba. While most of this collection’s slides, photographs, audiovisual materials, and memorabilia document life in Cuba, the personal papers document González’s life in both Cuba and in Miami. Other materials include play scripts and videotapes on subjects that were of personal interest to González.

González's extensive collection of slides have been maintained in the original order that they were created. Most of the slides are organized into slide books and each binder is further divided into thematic tabs, which are identified in the container list in this finding aid. A small amount of slides were in slide projector decks, which have been kept together in folders accompanied by the slideshow notes. Box 10 contains photographic prints from slide negatives that González donated to the Cuban Heritage Collection previously.

The Gus García Papers contain the personal papers of Gus García, candidate for City of Miami Commission in the 2000 election cycle, including clippings, newsletters, correspondence and flyers for his Commission race.

The papers consist of the original manuscript of the short stories and poetry published under a title, A Refugee in America and written by Gustavo Duran.

The Gustavo Godoy y Agostini Papers contain correspondence to Gustavo Godoy y Agostini, along with poems and clippings collected by him.

The Guy Pérez-Cisneros Papers contain correspondence, writings and photographs of Guy Pérez-Cisneros (1915-1953), Cuban diplomat and art critic.

The collection contains correspondence; articles and clippings by Pérez-Cisneros relating to Cuban art; and photograph albums, reports, typescripts and audio recordings of speeches given by the diplomat during his tenure at the United Nations.

The Guy Stoms Properties, Inc. Records contains documents from the Guy Stoms Properties, Inc.  real estate corporation, in the form of stock certificates, minutes, and certificates. The collection also contains a Bootleggers & Booze-heisters Union Order of Demerit for Guy Storms.

This collection consists of the papers of H. E. Kilmer, Secretary of the San Jose Fruit Company of Alliance, Ohio, which was formed in April 1903 to establish fruit growing operations in Camagüey, Cuba.  The Company built Palm City on the north coast of that province.  The collection includes approximately 160 items, principally letters to Reverend Kilmer but also maps and incorporation documents.

The papers document research into the nutritional properties of Cuban plants, which was conducted in Cuba between 1944 and 1962 by Hady López who was a member of Fundación de Investigaciones Médicas in Havana, Juan Navia and other researchers. The papers also include copies of published works on tropical anemia written by Dr. Rubén López-Toca. Materials consist of articles, booklets, reports and a poster.

The Haitian Diaspora Oral History collection includes videos and selected transcripts of oral history interviews conducted with individuals of Haitian ancestry that are well-renowned in the world of the arts, community activism, civic leadership, and many professional organizations. The interviews were conducted by Kevin Mason, Lucrèce Louisdhon-Louinis and Béatrice Colastin Skokan.

A collection of several informally published papers, reports, bulletins, directories, brochures, articles and other documents, surrounding the Haitian culture both in and outside of the United States. Topics of interest include reports on the Haitian diasporic communities in South Florida and their economic situations, the history of Haitian refugees and detainees, and documents discussing Haitian civil rights in the United States.

The collection also contains a selection of materials from the Sant La Haitian Neighborhood Center, located in Miami, Florida. Their organization is dedicated to providing a voice for the Haitian-American community in South Florida and assisting Haitian-Americans with any needs they may have in the following areas: social services, education, economic self-sufficiency, and access to health care.

Haitian Student Organization collection consists of memorabilia kept in a time capsule, such as organizational records, event brochures, meeting minutes, newsletters, photographs, the Haitian national flag, and news clippings, buried on October 16, 2004 and opened on October 18, 2014.  The collection was donated by the Planet Kreyol Haitian Student Organization of the University of Miami to the University Archives in January 2015.

The donor, Planet Kreyol, was founded in 1993 at the University of Miami as the Haitian Student Organization and later renamed as Planet Kreyol. Their mission is to promote cultural awareness while servicing the community and preserving the ancestry of Haiti.

Haitian Women of Miami-Fanm Ayisyen Nan Miyami (FANM) was founded in 1991 to work for the "social and political empowerment" of Haitian women and their families. FANM is an advocacy and social service agency in Little Haiti and serves the needs of low income women and their families as well as victims of abuse, neglect, violence, discrimination and racism.

The records include correspondence, flyers, posters and educational publications as well as photographs of rallies and events from the Haitian Women of Miami.  Scrapbooks and newspapers from Haiti and the diaspora- such as "Le Floridien" and "The Haitian Times"- document political events and ongoing activism of women organizations, immigrant activists as well as local community happenings. The collection also includes substantial documentation of the activism of one of the organization's most notable activists, Marleine Bastien.

Typescript of "And Then There Were Five" by Hal M. Caudle Sr. The text describes the 1927 shooting aboard Coast Guard Boat 249. Caudle's correspondence makes references to Horace J. Alderman.

The Harold Butler Papers contain documents and photographs relating to engineering in Cuba and the American Clubs of Havana and Miami collected by Harold Butler (1895-1983), an American engineer living in Cuba from the 1920s to the 1960s.

The collection contains photographs from events held by the Asociación de Ingenieros Cubanos and an exile membership directory, along with material relating to activities of the American Club in Miami, including a history of the club, rosters from the 1970s and 1980s and bulletins from the 1960s and 1970s.

This collection contains black and white photographs of students in Dr. Jay Pearson's first marine biology (undersea) classrooom, 1935. The photographs and correspondence were sent to Dr. Harding Michel from Dr. Harold Humm in 1996-1997.

Harold M. Bixby (1890-1965) was a business developer who helped sponsor and organize Charles Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis" flight from New York to Paris in 1927. In the 1930's he was key in setting up Pan Am air routes in China through the China National Aviation Corp. and helped pioneer China's first trans-atlantic flight aboard the China Clipper in 1935. He later served as the vice president of Pan Am until his retirement in 1955.

The Hartwell Hunter scrapbook contains black and white photographs, clippings, and memorabilia following his experiences as a student at Swarthmore Preparatory School (1926-1927) and the University of Miami (1928-1932).

The Helen Maynard Ireland Papers contain the personal writings of Helen Ireland, the wife of Gordon Ireland, a lawyer who worked for the Cuban Sugar Cane Company in the 1920s-1930s.

The collection contains various manuscripts about the couple's life in Cuba, travels through Moron province, and Helen's interactions with Rosalia Abreau, a researcher working with primates in Cuba.

The Helen Muir Papers include correspondence, drafts of writings, research notes, topical files, publications, photographs, clippings, materials relating to Robert Frost, and other items documenting Muir’s life, career, and service.

The correspondence dates from 1927-1995, and includes both personal and professional correspondence. Intermixed with the correspondence are notes, clippings, writings and other materials relating to the correspondent. Noteworthy files include Marjory Stoneman Douglas, former Florida governor Bob Graham, Richard and George Merrick, Eunice Peacock, and Janet Reno.

The collection also contains drafts of Muir’s articles and columns, research notes, and several magazines containing published articles. Also included are notes for her book The Biltmore: A Beacon for Miami, and extensive notes and chapter drafts for her book Miami, U.S.A.

In addition, the collection contains topical files on various subjects, including libraries, awards, photographs, and speaking engagements. Also included are scrapbooks documenting Muir’s life and career, as well as her 1929 class yearbook.

The Helen S. Sternfels Papers contains the following items:

A number of turn of the century programs and playbills from New York playhouses such as 14th Street Theatre, Academy of Music, American Theatre, Broadway Theatre, Criterion Theatre, Grand Opera House, Harlem Opera House, Manhattan Opera House, Manhattan Theatre, and others.

A series of issues from the Puck and Judge humor and satire magazines, from the late 19th century.

Several souvenir books and song books.

An issue of the New York Times Jubilee Number, September 18, 1901, an issue of the New York Daily Times, September 18, 1851, a souvenir issue of The World Paper, 1903, celebrating the construction of the Williamsburg Bridge, and an issue of Harper's Weekly Journal of Civilization, April 2, 1864, an April Fool's issue on the Civil War with cartoons by Thomas Nast .

The papers document Helio Nardo's activities as a writer. The bulk of materials includes correspondence to Nardo from Cuban prominent exiled figures. The materials also consist of extracts from some published articles, and clippings. Some letters discuss the topics of Castro's regime in Cuba and political situation in Chile.

The Henry Fillmore collection includes the following items: papers, photos, memorabilia, publications, and plaques documenting the career of American musician, Henry Fillmore (1881-1956).

A collection of material from acclaimed theater director, Henry Fonte, who served as the producing artistic director at the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre and the Director of Conservatory Programs in University of Miami for five years. He received his initial education from the University of Florida, earning both a Bachelor of Arts in 1973 and a Master of Arts in teaching in 1976. His acting career began in New York City where he was a founding member of the Pearl Theatre Company. He later founded the New Works Development Program at the Hartt School at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

The collection is primarily comprised of playscripts, production notes, playbills, and programs but also contains audio-visual materials, posters, photographs, clippings, correspondence, theater set models, and various related items and ephemera from Henry Fonte.

A handwritten bound pamphlet by General Lloyd entitled: "A rhapsody on the present system of French politics on the projected invasion and the means to defeat it." The papers also include diagrams and maps.
