As one of the earliest popular radio figures to leave Cuba following the Cuban Revolution, he became a founding voice of Cuban exile radio in Miami. He became a political commentator on WMIE in Miami, where he was one of a very small number of early exiles who argued that the Castro regime would last more than a few years.
