Sub-Series 2 contains libretas, or notebooks, shared with Cabrera by Santería priests and priestesses documenting the rites, formulas, prayers and other details of religious traditions and practices. These are often typescript copies of originals held by the informant. The libretas are arranged alphabetically by the name of the informant, with unidentified informants at the end of the series.
