Founded in 1925, the University of Miami is a private research university with more than 15,000 students from around the world. It comprises 12 schools and colleges serving undergraduate and graduate students in more than 180 majors and programs.

The reports are in two volumes: Volume One published in July 1992 and Volume Two (marked "As Amended - 1993") in 1993.

Volume Two also includes “Proposed Amendments to the Coral Gables Campus Design Manual by Barbara White, AIA, University Architect and Celeste Manolas, Associate University Architect” dated June 1, 1996 and “Proposed Amendments to the Coral Gables Campus Plan by Michael Dennis & Associates, Architecture and Urban Design and Rafael I. Peruyera, Campus Planning and Programing” dated June 1, 1995.
