Founded in 1925, the University of Miami is a private research university with more than 15,000 students from around the world. It comprises 12 schools and colleges serving undergraduate and graduate students in more than 180 majors and programs.

This collection provides records of the commencement ceremonies held by all the schools and departments of the University of Miami since 1927.  It consists of commencement programs in print (1927-2014) and commencement recordings (2003-2014) donated by the University of Miami's Office of Commencement.
